I know its hard, but try not to repeatedly loosen or tighten your rings or braclets, over time this wears the metal which can lead to it breaking

Try to not get your jewelry wet, don't swim or shower with them, take them off when you wash your hands or doing dishes. This will help your ring to not loose its color so quickly.

If your color is starting to fade, simply use a sharpie to color in the stamped area, allow it to dry and then wipe off any excess color with a small amount of rubbing alcohol.
